I think they might be pulling her leg. Though that would imply that Lyon has a sense of humor, a laughable concept, let me tell you.
I started playing with this idea for a story about them meeting each other. I got four pages in, looked at what I had and realized that this didn’t need an ongoing thing.
That’s not where their story needs to start.
So I decided to just do some smaller jokes, get to know this setting and this group of friends clunking around the galaxy in a spaceship.
