My baby Soot passed today. Cats always take a bit of you when they go, but they always leave a bit of themselves. Like a little barf. When I first got her (thirteen years ago August 26th, fitting for a black cat) she was a little soot sprite with boogers in her eyes. She grew into a beautiful void cat with stars in them.

Tried to get looser with the lines on this one. Unfortunately, Panka came out with some dough-face. Maybe I’ll fix it sometime. Kilbossa’s titties are poppin’!
Turts
Felt the itch to pull out the inking tools and do a little pen and ink work.

And how about some pencils?
Series covers
I had so much fun drawing this. Slowly going through the Balls archive adding the correct time stamps and tags ect (the original site broke and couldn’t restore it so I’m wayback machining it from beyond the grave) I was thinking about Panka and the rest lately.
O’ Catpaint My Catpaint
Someone wanted to contribute to her portrait (I use the plate as a paint palette)
Close that Door
Comic’s up! I had a hell of a time with those last two panels with the gate. Lots of things happen when you have to copy multiple layers. And then move them into place in the lower panel. AND THEN collate them into each other. Let’s just say that some errors were made.
All in all, I think I did pretty well patching out the gate (tho if I did it again, I’d color the lower panel first and use the gate to hide crimes in the upper panel)!
Gorls
Doing some color practice and some gorls happened.
Panny Shots
Working on redoing this page on Lex and Dandre (my tablet ate the full art of the original and I used the excuse to color it). I have fun with panning shots. It’s one way to use copy and paste while keeping things interesting.
Site’s done
I still have to upload (hello Balls and Same Apartment). I’ve finished the series banners!
Then it’s time to start posting the comics from days gone by. All of my comics in one place!
Here’s a better look at the uncropped artwork.
I’m very happy with the painterly aspect of them.
