First new comic and Genesis…
First let me say that I've had a lot of ups and downs this last month. A good many times I didn't think my work was up to snuff and just plain couldn't do anything. I'm just now getting over the cold that threw me on my back a couple of days ago and sent me crawling for the commentary on the Venture Brothers dvd (how desperate is that?) This Saturday's comic (which I just realize now has been up for a couple of days) is the result of not only my crappy days, but some other people I know who've had some bad days of their own. This was compounded for some of those people when Steve Irwin met his untimely fate yesterday morning. I never watched his shows, but from what I've gathered today, he was very passionate about his work. But that's what art is for, to make people feel things and I hope that this comic is cathartic for others as it is for me to draw it. 
Now for something a bit more lighthearted. Genesis marks the first break of summer, here's to hoping the cool weather lasts a bit longer.
